About this project
Together with international architects Kohn Pederson Fox Associates and ARUP, NACO submitted the winning design for the new Midfield Terminal Complex at Abu Dhabi International Airport. The project which commenced in 2006 will ensure that the new terminal will eventually be able to cater for up to 40 million passengers a year.
We developed the airport master plan for the new complex including the design of the airside infrastructure, terminal facility special systems and all related landside works. We also provided assistance with tender evaluations and are currently providing construction services to ensure that the design will be followed appropriately.
The 705,000m² terminal complex is designed to deliver a high level of service to passengers while upholding sustainable practices.
